IhsanHQ (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates ihsanhq.com and provides mosque management software, including donor CRM, QR-based donation collection, and community engagement tools. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our services.

2. Information We Collect

Mosque Administrator Information: When you create a IhsanHQ account, we collect your name, email address, and mosque information including name, address, and location coordinates.

Donor Information: When a donor completes a donation through your mosque's QR code or donation page, we collect the donor's name, email address, donation amount, category, and payment information. Payment card data is processed directly by Payabli and is never stored on our servers.

Usage Data: We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps to operate and improve the service.

3. How We Use Information

• To provide and operate the IhsanHQ platform
• To build and maintain donor profiles on behalf of mosques
• To process donations through Payabli
• To send transactional emails (donation receipts, confirmation emails)
• To generate year-end tax statements for donors
• To provide customer support
• To improve the service through anonymized analytics

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Payabli: Payment processing. Payabli's privacy policy governs their use of payment data.
• Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure. Data is stored in encrypted form.
• Mosques: Mosque administrators can view donor profiles and donation history for their own mosque only.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or government request.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage, and row-level security in our database. Access to data is limited to authorized mosque administrators for their own community's data. Payment card data is never stored by IhsanHQ.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and donor data for as long as your mosque account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, financial records). Donors may request deletion of their personal information by contacting the mosque administrator or us directly at privacy@ihsanhq.com.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@ihsanhq.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from logging in.

9. Children's Privacy

IhsanHQ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@ihsanhq.com.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify account holders by email of material changes. Continued use of IhsanHQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
